Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and outgoing Host/Hostess to join our team at Uncle Julio's Hacienda. As a Host/Hostess, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, creating a lasting impression by providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet Guests: Greet guests with a genuine smile and friendly demeanor, creating a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Manage Reservations: Manage the reservation system, seating guests promptly and efficiently, and maintaining an organized seating chart.
  • Provide Excellent Service: Provide accurate wait times and keep guests informed of the status of their table. Anticipate and address guest needs, such as special requests or accommodations.
  • Answer Phone Calls: Answer phone calls and provide information about the restaurant and its offerings.
  • Maintain Cleanliness: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/hostess station and lobby area. Assist with maintaining cleanliness in the dining room, bar area, and restrooms.
Requirements
  • No Experience Required: No previous experience required; we provide on-the-job training.
  • Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Personality and Skills: Friendly and outgoing personality with excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to remain calm and composed in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills and ability to multitask effectively.
  • Availability: Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Willing to stand on your feet for long periods of time. Willing to work in a hot and noisy environment.
