Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Event Technician Audio Visual to join our team at Encore Canada. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the setup and operation of audiovisual systems in a hospitality environment, ensuring seamless events and exceptional customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Equipment Operation: Ensure accurate and timely setup, operation, and breakdown of audiovisual equipment.
  • Customer Service: Strive to exceed customer expectations and needs, maintaining a positive relationship through effective communication.
  • Technical Ability: Troubleshoot and problem-solve with equipment and software issues, handling challenges in a timely and professional manner.
  • Systems Knowledge: Understand company processes, follow procedures, and complete systems entry and paperwork accurately.

Job Qualifications

  • High School Diploma required; Associate's degree preferred.
  • 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
  • 1 year of audiovisual experience or equivalent in an educational environment preferred.
  • A valid driver's license is required for team members who may operate Company vehicles.

Work Environment

Hotel environment with moderate exposure to outdoor temperatures and to dirt, sand, and/or dust. The working conditions will vary between moderately quiet to noisy volumes. Team members will use high-end audiovisual equipment and electrical components, and will be exposed to heights via lifts and ladders.
