Job Description

We are seeking an experienced ITSM professional to join our team as a ServiceNow developer. The successful candidate will have 5+ years of experience working with the ServiceNow platform, including scripting, tool configuration, design work, and technical implementation.

The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of the technical implementation and skills to develop on the ServiceNow platform. Experience implementing ITSM best practice processes and procedures in an enterprise environment is essential. ServiceNow Administrator and Developer Certifications are also highly desirable.

This role will involve designing and delivering technical solutions via SCRUM methodology that solve problems while supporting the long-term health of the ServiceNow platform. You will work closely with process owners and stakeholders to ensure that data integrity and best practices are maintained.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain solutions using standard platform functionality
  • Solution design, architecture, and diagramming based on platform capability and stakeholder feedback
  • Experience with multiple major version upgrades and system patches; explain common upgrade issues caused by custom development
  • API Integrations and Automation across a variety of external platforms and tools
  • Thorough understanding of security in the instance; know when to use client vs server (or both) methods for optimizing user experience while still maintaining system performance and data integrity
  • Worked in a team development environment where multiple developers utilized the same path-to-prod and release cadence
