MOHS Surgeon Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced MOHS Surgeon to join our dynamic team at GPAC, a renowned dermatology clinic dedicated to providing exceptional skin care through advanced treatments and compassionate patient care.

Position Overview

The MOHS Surgeon will be responsible for performing MOHS micrographic surgery to treat skin cancer, ensuring complete tumor removal while preserving healthy tissue.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform MOHS micrographic surgery, including pre-operative consultations, surgery, and post-operative care.
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including dermatologists, pathologists, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Educate patients and their families about skin cancer prevention, treatment options, and post-operative care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Stay current with advancements in dermatologic surgery and participate in continuing education opportunities.
Qualifications
  • Medical degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Board certification in Dermatology.
  • Fellowship training in MOHS surgery.
  • Valid state medical license.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience performing MOHS surgery.
  • Excellent surgical and diagnostic skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
