Job DescriptionWe're seeking a licensed Advanced Practice Nurse specialized in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine with 1 year of Hospital Medicine experience to work collaboratively with our Hospitalist Team.
Requirements include:
- 1-year experience required; 2-4 years preferred
- Advanced Practice Nurse License
- BLS Certification
Responsibilities include:
- Examining patients admitted to the ED
- Coordinating all tests, examinations, and treatments
- Interacting with primary care physicians to develop treatment plans
- Maintaining hospital records and medications
- Arranging follow-up care for patients once they leave the hospital
- Prescribing medications
- Communicating effectively with physicians, patients, and family members
