Overview

JST is actively seeking a Security Operations Manager to enhance our operational capabilities. This is a full-time role focused on supporting the Department of Defense's navigation warfare (NAVWAR) mission, ensuring excellence in positioning, navigation, and timing. As a Security Operations Manager within the Joint Navigation Warfare Center (JNWC), you will provide essential expertise to combatant commanders and joint force commanders. Your role will involve offering insights into planning and executing NAVWAR, as well as understanding the complexities of friendly and enemy NAVWAR order of battle and PNT-related challenges.


Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the administrative processing of contractor personnel and their access to the Defense Information System for Security (DISS).
  • Develop and submit security accreditation packages for contractor facilities and equipment.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations related to contractor security.
  • Monitor and track contractor security clearance processing activities in collaboration with government personnel.
  • Advise contractor staff on document profiling, customization, and dissemination, including Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) protocols.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
  • Current TS/SCI Security Clearance is required.
  • Thorough understanding of DoD and Military security regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Experience with the Defense Information System for Security (DISS) is essential.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.

Desired Qualifications

  • Certification such as Facility Manager Credential or equivalent.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight while effectively collaborating within a team environment.

Clearance Requirements

  • Must possess an active TS/SCI security clearance.
  • Must be eligible to pass a US Government Security Clearance.
