About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Mount Olive Correctional Complex in West Virginia. As an LPN, you will play a crucial role in delivering patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. You will work under the clinical guidance of Registered Nurses and utilize established medical record systems to ensure high-quality patient care.


Job Responsibilities
  • Assist in assessing the physical, psychological, and social dimensions of patients in the health care unit and housing units.
  • Develop and implement individual treatment programs, utilizing available resources and consulting with registered nurses, physicians, and correctional officers.
  • Administer medications and interventions as instructed by providers.
  • Document nursing encounters, patient response, and effectiveness, communicating information to supervisory personnel and physicians.

Requirements
  • Current, unrestricted STATE Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) License.
  • Current CPR Certification.
  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.

Estimated Salary

$45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience.
