We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to join our team at the University of California. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing routine to complex CT procedures for diagnostic purposes in accordance with established guidelines and protocols.
Key Responsibilities- Perform CT procedures using advanced knowledge of radiologic technology and computed tomography.
- Act as a CT subject matter expert and assist other technicians as needed.
- Prepare and position patients for procedures using established CT protocols to achieve high-quality images.
- Administer contrast media orally or assist physicians in intravenous administration.
- Enter complex data into computer systems and review, verify, and evaluate images and radiographs to ensure technical quality and image quality.
- Graduate of a school of radiologic technology.
- California Radiology Technologist of Radiography (CRT-R) certification.
- Registered Technologist for Computed Tomography issued by ARRT (R.T(CT)(ARRT)) certification.
- Venipuncture certification or completion of a venipuncture course.
- BART or BLS certification at time of hire with commitment to obtain BART within six months.
- California Radiology Technologist of Fluoroscopy (CRT-F) certification.
- Five years of experience in a similar role and setting.
- Hospital experience.
The selected candidate will be required to work various hours and locations based on business needs. Employment is subject to a criminal background check and pre-employment physical.
The University of California offers a competitive salary range of $121,355 - $150,816, with the hourly equivalent of $72.23. The hiring pay scale is based on experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure, and certifications, as well as other business and organizational needs.
