LPN - Internal Medicine Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Internal Medicine team at Albany Medical Center. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

• Obtain and accurately record patient vital signs
• Document patient history and medical information
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff
• Participate in clinical procedures under the supervision of licensed healthcare providers
• Perform diagnostic testing and venipuncture as needed
• Assist with prescription management and patient chart preparation
• Maintain inventory of medical supplies and ensure patient examination rooms are stocked
• Adhere to Albany Medical Center's regulatory compliance standards

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience in a patient care setting preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
• LPN licensure in the state of New York required

This role requires the ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced healthcare environment. The successful candidate will be able to lift, carry, and move patients as needed, and will be able to work in a variety of settings, including patient examination rooms and clinical areas.
