Job Overview

This role offers an excellent opportunity for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to work with school-aged children in Elmira, NY. As an SLP with our team, you will assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders, collaborating with educators and families to develop strategies that empower students to thrive in the classroom and beyond.

Main Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify speech, language, and communication needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with students' goals.
  • Provide direct therapy to students in individual and group settings.
  • Document student progress and adjust interventions as needed.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other support staff to integrate strategies into the learning environment.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development for students.

Requirements

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
  • Current New York SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
  • Experience in a school or pediatric setting is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • A passion for helping students reach their full potential.
