Job Summary

Focus Staff is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team for a travel assignment in a reputable healthcare facility. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with the healthcare team to develop and implement effective treatment plans.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients and recommend treatment plans to ensure optimal respiratory care.
  • Provide respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical and surgical conditions, including the insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes.
  • Perform timely and accurate documentation of patient care and treatment plans.
  • Promote continuous quality improvement by identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care.
  • Teach and counsel patients and their families on respiratory care and disease management.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Respiratory Therapist, with a strong background in patient care and treatment planning.
  • Maintain current CPR or BCLS certification, with a preference for BCLS, ACLS, PALS, NALS, or NRP certification.
  • Excellent communication skills with the healthcare team, patients, and families.
