We are seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team at Swedish First Hill in Seattle, WA. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of radiological technical procedures specific to the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease in a high-volume outpatient setting.
Key Responsibilities- Producing high-quality radiographic images while interacting with patients in a caring and comforting manner
- Performing required quality control activities as mandated by the Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) and the FDA
- Utilizing general radiography skills to perform diagnostic radiology exams, as required
- Successful completion of a formal radiologic technology training program, which meets the requirements for registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Washington Radiologic Technologist licensure
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification
- National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification
- National Registered Technologist - Mammography certification, within one year of hire
- Two years of full-time mammography experience
