Job Summary:

As a CT Technologist at Highmark Health, you will be responsible for performing prescribed CT imaging procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision. You will competently perform a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment and initiative.

Key Responsibilities:

Positions patients and performs imaging procedure(s)
Analyzes results and identifies issues with the quality of imaging results
Takes appropriate action to resolve image quality issues, including repositioning patients and repeating procedures
Enters, transmits, and reports scan results

Requirements:

Associate degree or certification from a technical school
Six months to one-year related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Computed Tomography (CT) Certification is required within 18 months of hire
CPR – American Heart Association certification
Act 34, Act 33, and Act 73 clearances

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience working as a CT Technologist
