Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician II to join our team at Sheetz Bros. as a key member of our maintenance department. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing daily maintenance tasks, including equipment preventive maintenance, inspections, and facility maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily preventive maintenance on food manufacturing and production equipment to ensure optimal performance and extend equipment lifespan.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot equipment failures during production to minimize downtime and ensure seamless operations.
  • Cleanliness and Sanitation: Conduct all work with a high level of cleanliness to ensure compliance with AIB, USDA, and FDA sanitation guidelines.
  • Safety and Compliance: Embrace and follow all OSHA and Sheetz safety practices to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Facilities Maintenance: Perform general maintenance duties for facility and offices, including repairs and maintenance of building systems.
  • Team Collaboration: Assist members of the maintenance team with projects as needed to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations.
Requirements
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent required; technical or trade training and Sheetz training preferred.
  • Experience: 3 years of experience in a maintenance atmosphere with an electrical background and safety training required; experience working with conveyor systems, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), bulk handling systems, packaging equipment, welding, metalworking, HVAC, hydraulics, and pneumatics preferred.
  • Licenses/Certifications: None required.
  • Tools and Equipment: Hand tools, power hand tools, pneumatic tools, welding tools, motorized equipment, and heavy equipment.
