As a Laboratory Technician at Didion Inc., you will experience a dynamic and engaging work environment. You will begin with thorough training to familiarize yourself with our laboratory methods and protocols. Your key duties will include:
- Conducting Tests and Analyses: Support our research and development initiatives in the food ingredient sector.
- Preparing Samples and Collecting Data: Ensure precise documentation of results.
- Maintaining Laboratory Cleanliness and Order: Adhere to safety regulations.
- Collaborating with Scientists and Technicians: Contribute to ongoing projects and assist in resolving technical challenges.
You will operate on a 2-2-3 rotation, with 12-hour shifts from 6 PM to 6 AM (including a $3/hour shift premium). This schedule allows for a balanced work-life routine and provides consistency for your planning and personal commitments.
Qualifications:To excel as a Laboratory Technician at Didion Inc., you should possess:
- A High School Diploma or GED: While previous quality assurance experience is preferred, we are open to training motivated candidates.
- Strong Communication Skills: Both written and verbal, to collaborate effectively with internal teams and communicate across departments.
- Fluency in English: Essential for effective communication within and outside the quality department.
- A Positive and Proactive Attitude: Along with a commitment to excellence and humility.
- Excellent Multitasking and Prioritization Abilities: To manage multiple equipment and processes while maintaining attention to detail.
- Ability to Work Independently: Proven capability to think critically, solve problems, and troubleshoot issues safely and effectively.
