Clinical Pharmacist

Position Overview:
The Clinical Pharmacist is responsible for a range of essential functions including the distribution of pharmaceuticals and providing guidance to patients. This role acts as a healthcare authority, brand representative, patient supporter, and mentor to staff. The Clinical Pharmacist will also assume managerial responsibilities when the General Manager or other leadership personnel are unavailable.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Exemplify outstanding service, commitment, and energy in all interactions.
- Offer patient consultations as required.
- Assist in ensuring that store operations and personnel adhere to state regulations.
- Safeguard all confidential information in accordance with HIPAA standards.
- Ensure compliance with all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Perform Manager on Duty (MOD) responsibilities as necessary, including overseeing store opening and closing procedures and supervising staff.
- Promote a work environment that aligns with Holistic Industries' mission to be the premier destination for work, shopping, and investment in the cannabis sector.
- Complete any additional tasks as assigned or requested by management.
- Fulfill a mandatory 4-hour Pharmacist certification mandated by the PA Department of Health, in addition to the PA Train dispensary employee certification.
- Required by the Department of Health to verify Patient certifications through the Patient Portal during all dispensing activities while on duty.
- Occasionally assist with cash management tasks, including preparing deposits, closing cash drawers, and maintaining daily activity logs.
Candidate Profile:
General Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years of age and capable of obtaining and maintaining marijuana work credentials as per regulations.
Education and Experience:
- Must hold a valid Pharmacist license in the state of Pennsylvania.
- Must acquire and uphold all state-mandated Pharmacist training and certifications.
- Minimum age requirement is 18 years.
- Must be able to secure and maintain medical marijuana work credentials following a thorough fingerprint background check.
Essential Skills and Knowledge:
- Strong focus on compliance and regulatory adherence.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy.
- Proficient in computer operations and point-of-sale systems.
- Ability to excel in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Proven capability to work independently as well as collaboratively, fostering productive working relationships.
