Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team at Soliant. As an integral part of our educational team, you will assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders in students, fostering effective communication skills and academic success.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and identify students with speech and language impairments, providing services in accordance with eligibility criteria.
  • Collaborate with professionals and parents to integrate speech and language goals into both classroom and home settings, ensuring seamless communication.
  • Adhere to federal, state, and local protocols and regulations governing speech-language pathology services.
  • Demonstrate proper language usage, serving as a model for students and colleagues.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive records, filing reports as required.
  • Exhibit precise and current knowledge of subject matter, integrating designated curriculum effectively.
  • Identify students with speech and language disorders through thorough evaluation, analyzing their communication skills.
  • Offer consultative services to teachers, parents, administrators, and allied agencies, ensuring integration of speech and language goals across educational settings.
  • Evaluate and report on student progress, determining the need for continuation or termination of services.
  • Collaborate with school administration and coordinators to plan, coordinate, and implement the speech/language pathology program.
Requirements:
  • Masters or Doctorate Degree in Communication and Sciences Disorders or Speech and Language Pathology.
  • Active SLP License.
  • Strong Communication and interpersonal skills.
