Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Washroom Attendant to join our team at Whiskey Joe's Tampa. As a key member of our hospitality staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen and dining areas.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will provide exceptional service by ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and equipment are clean and sanitized throughout the day. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide guests and employees with clean and sanitized tableware, utensils, and glassware.
- Ensure that all dishes are clean and available as needed.
- Responsible for setting up and closing down the dish machine daily.
- Wash tableware according to sanitation and cleaning procedures.
- Place clean tableware in designated shelves following sanitation and cleaning protocols.
- Set up trash cans in employee restrooms, prep cooking lines, and the dish room.
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness by sweeping/mopping floors and emptying trash.
- Troubleshoot any dish machine malfunctions.
- Inform the manager on duty of any problems and take prompt action when necessary.
- Work frequently in a hot, damp environment.
- Must wear approved manufacturer-certified slip-resistant or non-slip shoes at all times while working.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Must be able to clearly and effectively communicate English.
- Must be able to pass dishwasher training.
- Must be able to walk and stand for hours at a time. Difficult work including lifting and carrying up to 45 lbs.
