Position Overview

Role Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated and skilled professional to join our team as an Electronic Calibration Technician. This role involves performing both onsite and in-house calibration of various testing instruments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine and advanced calibrations on diagnostic and measurement devices in our lab (20%) and at client locations (80%).
  • Interpret and comprehend specifications and tolerances for calibration equipment.
  • Apply knowledge of quality systems and standards in daily operations.
  • Maintain familiarity with the laboratory's Scope of Accreditation.
  • Utilize Calibration Spreadsheets effectively.
  • Complete all necessary quality assurance training and documentation.
  • Address customer inquiries promptly and take appropriate actions to ensure satisfaction.
  • Perform maintenance on equipment and participate in internal audits and proficiency testing.
  • Execute calibrations according to established procedures to meet customer requirements.
  • Engage in continuous learning to enhance technical skills through self-study and training programs.
  • Ensure timely turnaround on all equipment to maintain high customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the laboratory environment.

Equipment Expertise:
Experience with a variety of instruments, including:

  • Analog and Digital Multimeters
  • Frequency Counters
  • Function Generators
  • Oscilloscopes
  • Power Supplies
  • Temperature Devices

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of experience in electronic calibration.
  • Preferred educational background includes a Bachelor’s or Associate degree in electronics.
  • Military experience in electronics is highly regarded.

Physical Requirements:
Candidates must be able to communicate effectively, remain stationary at a workstation, and tolerate various environmental conditions at client facilities.
