About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Cardiac Sonographer to join our team at The University of Vermont Health Network.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing highly technical cardiac ultrasonographic procedures under the supervision of a Director of Cardiology.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Applying non-ionizing high frequency ultrasonic waves to support Cardiology Services is a crucial aspect of this role.
  • The ideal candidate will function within the scope of practice and hospital policies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • This position requires the ability to support the hospital's philosophy, objectives, and goals in delivering exceptional patient care.
Requirements:
  • An Associate's degree in radiologic technology or equivalent education/experience is required for this position.
  • RDCS registry is preferred but not mandatory. However, all candidates must possess BLS Training certification.
  • A minimum of 1 year experience in cardiac ultrasound is necessary to succeed in this role.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $85,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
