  • Prepares KX machinery and special projects, managing and completing multiple assignments promptly with high quality and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Coordinates preventive maintenance and services for KX machinery and special projects as required.
  • Organizes and executes maintenance of the Team Green support vehicle while ensuring a professional appearance at events.
  • Maintains the exterior of the support vehicle to the highest standards, including regular washing, waxing every few months, polishing rims monthly, and cleaning event tents.
  • Ensures the interior of the support vehicle is kept to the highest standards, including cleaning cabinets, floors, tools, and all related equipment.
  • Tracks and logs parts inventory used at various events and replenishes the support vehicle as necessary.
  • Collects payments for parts and accessories distributed during racing events.
  • Records and submits precise warranty logs.
  • Engages with promoters to arrange public address announcements and secure prominent locations for KMC support vehicles at racing events.
  • Submits accurate expense reports in a timely manner.
  • Records and submits precise DOT logs for the Team Green support vehicle.
  • Assists the Team Green Racing Technician with engine services and machinery preparation when required.
  • Collaborates with the Team Green Parts Coordinator to ensure the availability of appropriate parts and equipment.
  • Acts as a liaison between departments for all internal and external warranty matters.
Education and Experience:

A high school diploma or GED is mandatory; a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience or training in a motorcycle racing context is required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. MMI or equivalent is preferred.

Qualifications:

To excel in this role, you must successfully perform each essential duty. The following qualifications are essential:
  • Strong knowledge and experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Lotus Notes, and FI software.
  • Exhibits outstanding oral and written communication abilities.
  • Demonstrates the capacity to effectively prioritize and organize multiple competing tasks.
  • Highly detail-oriented and deadline-focused.
  • Brings enthusiasm and energy to team efforts.
  • Able to work independently and achieve objectives with minimal supervision.
  • Extremely reliable with a friendly, professional demeanor.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience with 2-stroke and 4-stroke engines, including EFI tuning.
  • Possesses sufficient professional tools for use in the support vehicle and race team shop.
  • Current Class M license (motorcycle) is required.
  • A Class C license (commercial) is not mandatory but strongly preferred.
  • Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Approximate travel requirement: 50%.
Compensation: $30.00/hr. - $33.00/hr.
