Key Responsibilities
  • Quality Workmanship: Demonstrate quality in all work, adhering to industry standards and company expectations.
  • Lifting Techniques: Utilize proper lifting techniques to ensure safety and prevent injuries.
  • Work Scheduling: Initiate all work as scheduled and with available materials, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
  • Supervision: Supervise laborers to ensure safe work practices and appropriate task assignments.
  • Tool Maintenance: Maintain own tools for the job and use the right tool for the right task.
  • Start-Up and Clean-Up Procedures: Use proper start-up and clean-up procedures to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
  • CIP and Precast Concrete Installation: Erect and install CIP and precast concrete panels as required.
  • Layout and Framing: Complete layout and framing of metal and wood, applying wood and cement to siding of buildings efficiently and effectively.
  • Installation of Windows, Doors, and Hardware: Install windows, doors, hardware, cabinets, trim, and other carpentry-related tasks.
Requirements
  • Experience: 2-3 years of verifiable experience as a Carpenter.
  • PPE Equipment: Understand the utilization and maintenance of all PPE equipment.
  • Architectural and Engineering Plans: Able to understand and read Architectural and Engineering plans.
  • Scaffolding Systems: Understand and be proficient in the erection of scaffolding systems.
  • Construction Methods: Aware of different means and methods of construction.
