Our facility is committed to delivering a wide range of urologic services, ensuring patients receive exceptional care from skilled professionals, advanced diagnostic tools, and innovative treatment options.

Key Responsibilities

1. Execute assigned tasks within the primary work area while demonstrating proficiency in the following areas: IV and contrast administration, orthopedic imaging, pediatric imaging, operating room radiology, trauma imaging, gastrointestinal imaging, and both outpatient and inpatient diagnostic radiology, including myelography and arthrography.

2. Conduct various technical procedures utilizing x-ray equipment to produce radiographs of specified body regions as directed by the physician; adjust equipment settings for optimal exposure, voltage, and current in compliance with radiation safety protocols.

3. Prepare and organize medical supplies, instruments, and equipment; explain imaging procedures to patients; position patients accurately for each required anatomical view using necessary immobilization and protective devices; report any changes in patient status to the attending medical personnel.

4. Oversee ancillary equipment and assist the attending physician during fluoroscopic examinations and specialized radiographic studies.

5. Document the quantity and type of film exposed; label films with appropriate identification; sort as necessary.

6. Collaborate with the lead radiologic technologist and radiologist to ensure adherence to established quality standards.

7. Process films according to standardized protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Compensation: $32-$39 / hour

Qualifications:

EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

- Graduate of an accredited Radiological Technology program.

- Minimum of 2 years of prior management experience is preferred.

- AART Registered and current CPR certification.

- Familiarity with local, state, federal, and Joint Commission regulations.

- Strong independent decision-making abilities.

- Capacity to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.

- Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients, and families.

- Proficient in both verbal and non-verbal professional communication.
