Key Responsibilities:

  • Engaging with patients to gather essential demographic information for medical records and managing appointment scheduling.
  • Collecting and verifying insurance policy IDs, as well as confirming benefits and providing cost estimates for scheduled procedures.
  • Informing patients about anticipated charges based on processed claims.
  • Clarifying patient deductibles and out-of-pocket expenses when necessary.
  • Coordinating with other medical offices for authorization or pre-certification as required.
