Key Responsibilities
  • Explain procedures to patients and their families
  • Image correct anatomical areas of interest and pathology
  • Perform complex procedures, including age-related criteria and developmental considerations
  • Process and manipulate images, analyze image quality, and troubleshoot
  • Operate, care for, and maintain equipment
  • Prepare rooms for examinations and administer contrast media and medications
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology
  • ARRT-CT certification
  • 1 year of radiologic technologist experience or no experience with ARRT-CT
  • BCLS certification
