Job Summary:

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have experience in supervising a team of machinists and mechanics, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills. They will be responsible for ensuring that all work is performed in compliance with relevant safety regulations and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure that all work is performed in compliance with relevant safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Team Management: Supervise and manage a team of machinists and mechanics, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate with other departments to ensure that all projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that all work meets our high standards.
  • Communication: Maintain effective communication with colleagues, customers, and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in the marine industry.
  • Skills: Strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as experience in supervising a team of machinists and mechanics.

Compensation and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this position is $95,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
