ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team in a school setting. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1+ years of experience in occupational therapy and a strong passion for working with students with special needs.

Job Details
  • Location: Near Berkeley, CA
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Caseload: To be discussed with special services director during interview
Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess students' abilities and limitations
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve students' functional abilities
  • Collaborate with school staff to ensure comprehensive and coordinated services
  • Provide education and training to school staff on strategies to support students' occupational therapy goals
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes
Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current state license in California
  • Experience working with school-aged children, including those with disabilities or special needs
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practices in occupational therapy
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
