Position Overview:
The Community Education Coordinator will play a pivotal role in supporting the Education Director in broadening our educational outreach. This position is designed for an enthusiastic individual who is passionate about creating enriching learning experiences for families and community organizations.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with the Education Director and team to design and execute engaging educational programs for families, including workshops and community events.
2. Work alongside educators to curate and adapt educational resources from trusted sources for use in schools and community organizations.
3. Assist in developing and maintaining strategic partnerships with local, state, and national organizations to enhance educational services.
4. Present community-based educational programs and actively recruit families to participate.
5. Conduct training sessions for educators and parents on effectively utilizing educational materials and resources.
6. Create lesson plans and teaching tools to support educational initiatives and enhance learning experiences.
7. Maintain an active presence on social media to engage with educational audiences and promote programs.
8. Represent the organization at community events and educational conferences to showcase our services.
9. Stay informed about educational trends and resources to ensure alignment with community needs.
10. Assist in evaluating the effectiveness of educational programs through data collection and analysis.

Qualifications:
1. A minimum of three years of experience in education, educational technology, or community engagement.
2. Proficiency in digital media tools for both virtual and in-person learning environments.
3. Strong understanding of local education systems and community partners focused on family engagement.
4. Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills.
5. Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:
1. Bilingual skills in Spanish or other languages common in the community.
2. Experience in early childhood education or leadership roles within the education sector.
3. Familiarity with public media initiatives and their impact on education.
