Production Supervisor Job Description

The Production Supervisor plays a crucial role in leading and coordinating the activities of their shift to achieve production targets. This includes assisting with material supply and ensuring smooth, uninterrupted operations. Located at HARIBO of America's state-of-the-art food manufacturing plant, the ideal candidate will have 5+ years of manufacturing experience, a minimum of 2+ years in a supervisory or management level position, and at least 1 or more years of experience working in food manufacturing or pharmaceutical manufacturing.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead 3rd shift factory operations to deliver quality product, done correctly, and on-time
  • Promote and maintain good employee relations with associates
  • Build positive working relationships with teammates, coach, mentor, train, and develop staff
  • Collaborate with Technical Support team, Maintenance team, Safety team, Quality-Food Safety team, and other internal departments
  • Monitor line performance and ensure output, labor and material standards are achieved meeting HARIBO's high quality standards
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED required
  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing environment
  • 2+ years of supervisory or management experience in manufacturing environment
  • Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office including Word and Excel
  • Demonstrated strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Available to work flexible hours and days as needed to meet business demands
