Wood County Hospital is seeking a dedicated housekeeper to join our team. The Housekeeper plays a vital role in ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff by maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of assigned areas within the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Thoroughly cleans and sanitizes restrooms, ensuring all supplies are replenished.
  • Dusts and wipes down vents, cabinets, surfaces, and counters to maintain a dust-free environment.
  • Conducts discharge cleaning for patient units to prepare for new admissions.
  • Performs vacuuming and extraction of carpets and furniture as required.
  • Utilizes appropriate cleaning solutions for mopping and scrubbing floors, ensuring safe operation of cleaning equipment.
  • Strips, scrubs, and refinishes floors as necessary to uphold facility standards.

Shift Information:

Hours: Full Time, 37.5 hours per week

Shifts: Available on First, Second, and Third shifts

Weekend and holiday rotations are part of the schedule.

Qualifications:

Preferred experience in a healthcare setting is advantageous.
