Nephrology Nurse

Job Summary:

The Fresenius Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team as an Outpatient RN. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the delivery of safe and effective hemodialysis therapy to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, and implement individualized patient care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and document patient responses and outcomes.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote self-care and independence.

Requirements:

• Current RN licensure in the state of employment.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in nephrology nursing, preferably in a hemodialysis setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift, move, and position patients, as well as push/pull equipment up to 200 pounds.
