Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Medicine Physician to provide exceptional care in a dynamic environment. This role involves managing a diverse patient volume and ensuring high-quality medical services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Volume: Handle approximately 15,000 cases annually.
  • Facility Capacity: Work within a facility that has 90 hospital beds and 12 emergency department beds.
  • Electronic Medical Records: Utilize Medhost for efficient patient management.
  • Physician Coverage: Participate in 24-hour physician coverage with shifts from 9 AM to 9 PM and 9 PM to 9 AM.
Qualifications

Applicants must be board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Emergency Medicine. Additional certifications required include:

  • ATLS
  • ACLS
  • PALS
  • NIHSS
Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Coverage

In addition to physician responsibilities, the role includes oversight of APPs during designated shifts.

APP Shift Details
  • Shift Timing: 5 PM to 11 PM.
  • Qualifications: Candidates must hold certifications as FNP, ANCC, or PA-C, along with ATLS, ACLS, BLS, and DEA.
