At Lewis Tree Service Inc., we're committed to providing exceptional tree care services to our utility customers. As a Groundperson, you'll play a vital role in our team's success by performing line clearing and tree trimming duties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in our innovative climbing skills training program
• Work collaboratively as part of a tight-knit crew in a team environment
• Perform manual trimming and removals in and above power lines
• Operate and maintain various tools and equipment, including hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts
• Remove limbs and brush, and dispose of debris
• Mix and apply spray chemicals to preserve desirable vegetation
• Ensure employee and public safety by enforcing on-the-job safety practices

Requirements:

• Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting a minimum of 50 lbs to shoulder height
• Capable of operating two-handed equipment and withstanding extreme climate variances
• Willingness to obtain specialized training and certifications, such as tree species identification and local, state, and federal licenses
• Ability to obtain First Aid and CPR cards
• Pass a pre-employment drug test and job duty skills tests
• Ability to obtain a valid Driver's License
