We are seeking an experienced Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic to join our team at our facility in Kalama, Washington. The successful candidate will have a strong background in diesel engine repair and maintenance, with a proven track record of ensuring equipment efficiency and safety.

**Job Summary:**

We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic to perform routine maintenance and repairs on our fleet of diesel-powered equipment. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and related equipment.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues with heavy duty equipment.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure equipment is operating efficiently and safely.
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to schedule maintenance and minimize downtime.

**Requirements:**

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
