Position OverviewWe are in search of a passionate and skilled Vascular Outpatient Registered Nurse to join our team. This role is pivotal in providing comprehensive nursing care in a dynamic outpatient environment.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver safe and effective nursing care throughout the patient journey.
- Conduct thorough clinical assessments and gather essential patient histories prior to procedures.
- Maintain clear communication with the surgical team during interventions, including monitoring vital signs and patient status.
- Oversee the operating room environment as the circulating nurse during procedures.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols, particularly in radiation safety during procedures.
- Facilitate seamless transitions between surgical cases.
- Administer medications and assist with anesthesia as the monitoring RN.
- Review patient charts for accuracy and completeness in line with documentation standards.
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
- Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Current RN license in Texas or a Compact License.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is a plus.
Consistent and punctual attendance is a critical aspect of this role.
