Security Host

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Security Greeter to join our team at Viejas Casino & Resort. As a Security Greeter, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing a warm and welcoming experience that sets the tone for their visit.

• Greets all guests and team members with a friendly, upbeat, and professional attitude.
• Takes temperatures and asks screening questions to ensure COVID-19 safety protocols are followed.
• Answers guests' questions and directs them to the appropriate person or location.
• Acts as an ambassador and communicates important information about the casino, including promotions, events, club benefits, gaming area locations, restaurants, and VOC information.
• Informs guests that alcohol cannot enter or exit the casino and reports any suspicious activity to Security.
• Notifies Security of any guest who appears to be intoxicated and attempts to leave without a sober companion.
• Notifies Security of any guest bringing in a suspicious object or acting suspiciously.
• Directs guests with minors to the appropriate dining venue or hotel tower.
• Attends all scheduled team member meetings and trainings.
• Maintains knowledge of and effectively promotes company services and players' club program.
• Adheres to all company and department policies, procedures, and standard operating guidelines.
• Adheres to all hygiene and safety standards and ensures a clean, safe, and hazard-free work environment.

• Demonstrated strong customer service skills, including enthusiastic, energetic, professional, friendly, and courteous behavior at all times.
• Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills.

• Requires high school diploma, vocational training, or equivalent experience.

• 1 to 3 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be age 21 years or older.
