Environmental Scientist

Clean Harbors is seeking a skilled Environmental Field Chemist to handle, segregate, pack, and inspect chemical waste in accordance with regulations and company policies.

This position involves working indoors and outdoors at various locations and customer sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with safe work practices and policies
• Prepare packing lists, labels, and manifests
• Inspect storage areas and drums for compliance
• Collect, segregate, and package waste chemicals for disposal
• Execute jobs at customer locations
• Conduct projects according to regulations and health and safety plans
• Sample and profile waste streams
• Operate vehicles in compliance with regulations
• Follow all company guidelines and procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• Valid Driver's license
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to meet physical job requirements
• Successful completion of background check, drug test, and physical
• Compliance with facial hair standards for respirator use

Preferred Qualifications:

• College degree in Chemistry or Natural Science
• Previous experience in Environmental Services
