Pharmacist Floater

We are seeking a skilled Pharmacist Floater to join our team at WEIS LLC. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy department.

• Work closely with the pharmacy manager to control inventories, track sales, and order pharmaceutical stock to meet customer demand.
• Weigh, measure, and mix drugs and medical compounds, filling bottles with the correct quantity and composition.
• Provide advice to self-medicating patients and dispense non-prescription medications.
• Maintain open communication with health and insurance professionals.
• Perform patient immunizations on a regular basis.
• In the absence of the Pharmacy Manager, schedule pharmacy associates, reward and recognize performance, discipline associates as required, and give out work assignments to effectively utilize skills and abilities.
• Assist in the ongoing training and development of department personnel to improve performance, ensure continuous development, reduce turnover, and control labor costs.
• Help control department expenses by monitoring and improving operations, ensuring labor goals are met, and reducing losses due to shrink.
• Respond to customer complaints and questions in an efficient and courteous manner, providing effective counseling on prescription-related issues.
• Maintain a safe and clean department through an effective housekeeping program to meet company, health department, and OSHA standards.
• Ensure smooth function of the department and store by cooperating with co-workers and superiors.

• Bachelor of Pharmacy or Pharm D
• State Pharmacist License
