UnityPoint Health is seeking an Internal Medicine Physician to join our team in Ankeny, IA. As a physician-led, nonprofit health care organization, we offer comprehensive services in primary care, walk-in care, and specialty care. Our clinical teams are improving outcomes, lowering hospital readmissions, and reducing avoidable costs associated with treating chronic conditions.

Responsibilities:

* Practice outpatient medicine in an established and well-known clinic
* Join an established team of 2 physicians and 1 Advanced Practitioner
* Enjoy a cohesive group of colleagues and supportive staff allowing for autonomy while building the practice according to your preferences
* Benefit from experienced staff, both clinical and non-clinical, who know the patients and the community
* Work in a full-time position, including dedicated administrative time, with flexible scheduling to ensure sufficient patient access
* Be part of a 24/7 hospitalist program responsible for adult and pediatric inpatients
* Utilize a fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on EPIC EMR to improve care coordination

Qualifications:

* MD or DO
* Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine
* Ability to obtain and hold an unrestricted license to practice in the state of Iowa
* Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the physicians field of practice
* Eligible to work in the United States (H1-B cap exempt)
