Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cleaning and Maintenance Associate to join our team at Pratt Industries. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment for our employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Empty trash cans and recyclables on a daily basis
  • Dust and clean all surfaces, including desks, tables, and reception areas
  • Vacuum and mop floors to ensure a clean and safe environment
  • Clean bathrooms and restock supplies as needed
  • Wipe down windows and counter-tops to maintain a clean and hygienic environment
  • Run the floor scrubber and sweep the warehouse to ensure a clean and safe working environment
  • Maintain adequate inventory of cleaning supplies
  • Comply with company policies and procedures
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Two years of janitorial experience preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift up to 100 pounds
  • Ability to stand, walk, and talk or hear for extended periods
  • Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
Work Environment

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the functions of this job. The employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts, to wet and/or humid conditions and to high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
