Department Overview
The Project Finance and Grants team oversees financial management and grant administration for a diverse portfolio of productions and restricted projects. This department is responsible for the meticulous review of project budgets, financial monitoring, and compliance management for over 300 grants, totaling approximately $350 million in restricted funding.

Position Overview
Reporting to the Manager, the Financial Project Analyst plays a crucial role in managing the complete financial and grants administration processes for various projects. This position serves as the primary liaison between production teams and business units, facilitating the pre-award and post-award processes for restricted funding sourced from private foundations, PBS, CPB, and federal entities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a collaborative partner with production and business units to ensure effective management of restricted funding, addressing inquiries and applying organizational policies as necessary.
  • Analyze grant terms and conditions, identifying potential impacts on project scope, timelines, and compliance requirements prior to proposal submission.
  • Support the proposal submission process by establishing deadlines, reviewing budgets, and coordinating necessary documentation for successful submissions.
  • Oversee the post-award management, including maintaining award records, monitoring financial progress, and coordinating amendments with relevant departments.
  • Utilize expertise to independently address funding and grants management inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Drive departmental initiatives and policies, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Provide support during audits, including year-end financial statements and compliance reviews.
