Bearing Construction, Inc. is seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our team. As a Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for engineering future projects and supporting the construction and post-construction phases of current projects.



Key Responsibilities

  • Engineering future projects and supporting the construction and post-construction phases of current projects
  • Drafting conceptual plans, developing highly accurate engineering details and schedules, and coordinating across engineering disciplines
  • Performing or supervising site survey activities, including overseeing and managing survey teams to ensure accurate and timely collection of data
  • Designing and laying out site utilities, including water supply systems, sewage systems, stormwater drainage, and utilities distribution networks
  • Developing grading plans to optimize site functionality, manage stormwater runoff, and ensure proper site drainage
  • Creating accurate and comprehensive as-built drawings reflecting completed construction
  • Working closely with project managers, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to coordinate engineering activities


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required
  • At least 3 years of proven experience in civil engineering roles with a focus on industrial and municipal construction projects
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar design software
  • Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, project management, surveying techniques, site layout, and utility systems design
  • Licensed Surveyor preferred
  • Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and environmental guidelines
