Our organization is in search of a non-invasive, Fellowship-trained cardiologist to enhance our successful practice, which currently includes three established cardiologists and one nurse practitioner. The practice environment is characterized by a culture of exceptional professionalism, mutual support, and integrated care systems, encompassing our Emergency Department, ICU, and Hospitalist Program. We maintain strong partnerships with leading medical centers for advanced cardiology procedures.
Key Responsibilities:- Patient Assessment and Diagnosis:
Conduct comprehensive medical histories and physical examinations.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including EKGs, echocardiograms, and stress tests.
Diagnose and evaluate a range of cardiovascular conditions. - Treatment Strategy Development:
Create and implement detailed treatment plans for patients with heart-related disorders.
Prescribe medications, lifestyle changes, and other interventions to manage cardiovascular conditions. - Patient Education:
Inform patients about their cardiovascular conditions, treatment options, and necessary lifestyle modifications.
Guide patients on managing risk factors, including diet, exercise, and smoking cessation. - Monitoring and Follow-Up:
Track patients' progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
Conduct regular follow-up appointments to evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and address patient concerns. - Cardiac Procedures:
Perform and interpret diagnostic cardiac procedures, such as angiograms and catheterizations.
Refer patients for specialized interventions, including angioplasty or cardiac surgery, when required. - Collaboration with Healthcare Teams:
Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals, including nurses, technologists, and specialists, to ensure comprehensive patient care. - Research and Professional Development:
Stay informed about the latest advancements in cardiology through ongoing education.
Engage in clinical research to contribute to the field's knowledge and enhance patient outcomes. - Compliance with Ethical and Regulatory Standards:
Adhere to ethical standards and regulations governing medical practice.
Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient records and treatment plans. - Emergency Cardiac Care:
Provide emergency cardiac care as necessary, including responding to cardiac emergencies and participating in on-call rotations.
- Board certification in cardiology fellowship trained.
- Valid medical license and compliance with state regulations.
- Demonstrated experience as a General Cardiologist.
