Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team at Soar Autism Center in Gilbert, Arizona.
About the RoleThis is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children with autism and their families. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing individualized therapy plans that promote growth, independence, and overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and implement naturalistic occupational therapy for young children aged 2-6 years old in a center-based setting.
- Develop interventions to support clients' gross motor skills, fine motor skills, feeding, and other activities of daily living.
- Conduct multidisciplinary assessments and create treatment plans in coordination with other clinical specialties (ABA, speech, psychology) and perform co-treatments with the speech therapy team.
- Coach and mentor a team of RBTs to effectively translate OT goals into their therapy and support their career growth and progression.
- Monitor client progress, update treatment plans and goals, and communicate needed changes to team members and families.
- Partner with client families to develop goals, build relationships, communicate progress, and coach and support them in their journey.
- A Master's or Doctorate Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- A license to practice occupational therapy.
- Preference given to OTs with 3+ years of experience, but also open to new OTs starting their career.
- The ability to connect and engage with young children.
- Clear professional communication, both verbally and in writing.
- A competitive salary range of $65,000-$85,000 per year, depending on experience.
