Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations to determine Occupational Therapy diagnoses and establish individualized care plans.
- Implement and adapt treatment strategies tailored to the unique needs of each child.
- Engage in evidence-based practices and promote lifelong learning through participation in research and professional development activities.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes and support quality improvement initiatives.
- Participate in community outreach and educational programs to raise awareness about pediatric occupational therapy.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:
- A Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy with a minimum of five years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with at least one year of experience.
- A valid State of Florida license as an Occupational Therapist.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
Preferred Experience:
Experience in a pediatric outpatient setting is highly desirable.
Work Environment:
This position offers a full-time schedule with a focus on daytime hours, allowing for a balanced work-life integration.
