Position Overview:

As a dedicated Pediatric Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive care to children in an outpatient rehabilitation environment. Your expertise will contribute to the overall well-being and development of young patients, ensuring they receive the highest standard of therapeutic support.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough evaluations to determine Occupational Therapy diagnoses and establish individualized care plans.
  • Implement and adapt treatment strategies tailored to the unique needs of each child.
  • Engage in evidence-based practices and promote lifelong learning through participation in research and professional development activities.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes and support quality improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in community outreach and educational programs to raise awareness about pediatric occupational therapy.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy with a minimum of five years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with at least one year of experience.
  • A valid State of Florida license as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.

Preferred Experience:

Experience in a pediatric outpatient setting is highly desirable.


Work Environment:

This position offers a full-time schedule with a focus on daytime hours, allowing for a balanced work-life integration.
