Bakery Clerk

Coborn's is a fast-growing employee-owned grocery retailer located in the Midwest. Our company operates various store formats, including Coborn's, Cash Wise, Marketplace Foods, Hornbacher's, Tadych's Marketplace Foods, and Sullivan's Foods, as well as online grocery home delivery services through CobornsDelivers and Cash Wise Delivers.

The Bakery Clerk II is responsible for upholding our high standard of service by ensuring guest product is prepared, packaged, and labeled per order. This position is responsible for managing the production of artisan, pastry and/or popcorn products, if applicable to retail location.

• Prepare, package, and label bakery products per order
• Manage the production of artisan, pastry and/or popcorn products
• Ensure bakery products are fully stocked with fresh product and appealing to guests
• Provide continuous delivery of exceptional guest service
• Ensure superior quality and freshness of all artisan, pastry and popcorn products
• Ensure products are fully stocked
• Create appealing product presentation displays to attract guests
• Actively engage guests through freshly prepared product samples and suggestive selling
• Attract guests by creating a fun and friendly atmosphere
• Understand all health, safety and sanitation regulations
• Take special orders
• Answer the telephone
• Assist guests at the counter
