Job Description

Augusta Tower Technologies, Inc. is a family-owned and operated turnkey cell tower construction company seeking experienced tower technicians for employment in the Midwest market. The ideal candidate will be a Midwest resident able to work on the road, with frequent overnight travel and overtime required. Benefits and wages are competitive.

Valid safety certifications are preferred, but Augusta Tower will provide paid renewal certifications through its in-house training program. Our tower hands must be physically fit and willing to work at heights, maintaining a safe working environment while withstanding extreme weather elements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Climb Wireless Towers up to 300 feet
  • Perform and record physical measurements
  • Installation of antenna, lines, and RRH
  • Accurately record data and submit via electronic report
  • Use hand tools and basic power tools to install equipment
  • Technical testing (PIM, Sweep, and Fiber)

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills, fluent English required for safe and efficient teamwork
  • Must be able to work in a team environment and lead by example
  • Meet the Physical Job Requirements identified on the attached checklist
  • Must have an email address and a mobile phone in service capable of sending and receiving email
  • Arrive on time, prepared, and ready to work with a good attitude
  • 90% overnight travel, home most weekends
  • Must be a US citizen or a non-citizen authorized to work in the US
