Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all facets of accounting, tax, and audit engagements for clients, ensuring timely updates to engagement managers and compliance with quality control standards.
  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of client operations, including analysis and strategic planning for engagements.
  • Adhere to budgetary constraints for engagements, completing tasks within specified timelines and providing explanations for any variances.
  • Meet charge hour objectives and review the work of associates in accounting, tax, or auditing, offering constructive feedback.
  • May supervise associates on engagements and provide training and mentorship to junior staff.
  • Assist Managers or Directors in the client billing process.
  • Identify and develop expertise in selected specialty practices.
  • Engage in practice development activities, including membership in relevant organizations that can refer potential engagements.
  • Execute assigned administrative duties and additional responsibilities as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Accounting, Taxation, or a related discipline.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 3 years of experience in public accounting or a related field.
  • 1 year of supervisory experience preferred.
  • CPA candidates preferred.
  • Ability to manage deadlines, juggle multiple assignments, and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills across all organizational levels.
  • Proficient in relevant technology.
  • Willingness to travel based on client and business needs.

Compensation:

The annual salary target for this position in the current market ranges from $70,000 to $92,000. The specific compensation will be determined based on the selected individual's education, experience, and skill set.
