About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fleet Maintenance Manager to join our team at AiLO Logistics. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our fleet of vehicles and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and repair of all company equipment, ensuring compliance with FMCSA and DOT guidelines.
  • Scheduling and Planning: Plan and schedule maintenance services on a weekly basis, ensuring that all equipment is properly maintained and repaired.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Establish and maintain a preventative maintenance program to ensure that equipment is kept in good working condition.
  • Vendor Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, negotiating repair costs and approving expenses up to an authorized limit.
  • Documentation and Tracking: Ensure accurate documentation and maintenance tracking, including the maintenance of breakdown reports and the coordination of equipment repairs between shops and plants.
  • Team Management: Supervise and manage a team of maintenance employees, including mechanics, technicians, and clerks.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in maintenance operations, with 2-3 years of managerial experience preferred.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent, with vocational or technical training preferred.
  • Skills: Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to understand cost and budget principles.
