At VCU Health, we are seeking a talented and experienced Rehabilitation or Health Psychologist to join our esteemed team in the Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.

Job Summary:

The selected candidate will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide assessment and counseling services for individuals with neurological conditions such as traumatic brain injury, stroke, spinal cord injury, and movement disorders. Our state-of-the-art facility is the region's only Level 1 trauma center and consistently ranked as the best hospital in the Richmond metro area.

About the Role:

  • Hold a doctoral degree (PhD, PsyD) in a related field of psychology
  • Licensed or license-eligible in the state of Virginia
  • Specific training/expertise in health or rehabilitation psychology and evidence-based treatments for chronic medical conditions and/or chronic pain

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Completion of a 1-year postdoctoral fellowship in health or rehabilitation psychology

Compensation:

The estimated annual salary range for this position is $120,000-$150,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
